Not having Molly would be travesty

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Dear editor:

To quote from the Aaron Tippin song "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything. You've got to be your own man not a puppet on a string. Never compromise what's right and uphold your family name. You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything," nothing is truer than that when it comes to describing Molly Marsh and supporting her in the upcoming election.

Through church, school, scouts and more, we have watched our families and our community grow, stretch and grow some more.

Molly saw a need in our community. While others sat and hoped something would happen, Molly and a committee dedicated to improving the playground equipment for our children got out into the trenches and made it happen.

The play unit at Richard Aguirre Park was the result of a lot of fund raising, obtaining of donations, work, sweat and love. While family comes first to Molly it is evident in all that she does that our community, the one she and her husband have raised there sons in, is her extended family.

To not have Molly on the WECRD Board of Directors would be a travesty to Mountain Home. She has the history, the education, the drive and the commitment to making this a better community for our families to work, live and play in.
