Talkin' Tigers one of nations best

The National Forensics League, the national governing body of high school speech and debate programs, has honored the 2007-2008 Mountain Home High School Speech and Debate Team with a "200 Club" award.

The award places the "Talkin' Tigers" in the top 5 percent of speech and debate programs nationwide.

Eagle High School and Hillcrest High School were the only other two Idaho High Schools to earn the award.

Bryan Rich was the only senior on the team last year and the MHHS program has grown to include 88 students for the 2008-2009 season.
