Bishop Kelly scored twice in the last two minutes to pull out a 3-2 girls soccer conference win over Mountain Home last Tuesday at Eastside Park.

Bishop Kelly scored to tie the game at 2-2 with two minutes left in the game, and went down and scored in the dark less than a minute later to pull out the win.

"We had 'em!" said Mountain Home girls soccer coach Teresa Hymer after the game. "I want to say it was dark, and all these things, but it's just a game. It's just a game, and we had it. These girls have been trying to beat BK for years.

"What this shows the girls is they can win the district. There's a mystic about BK, but they know that they can beat them, so we close out our season at Emmett and then have our first game of district on Saturday."

Francesca Hale and Shianna Hawley both scored goals for Mountain Home. Kristie Sigloh and Angie Rios had assists.

Alicen Wendall had six saves on goal.

The Mountain Home tie and a win by Kuna vaulted Kuna ahead of Mountain Home in the seeding for the district tourney, as the Lady Tigers went into the District III 4A Tourney seeded fourth.

Mtn. Home 0

The number four seeded Lady Tigers opened district play against fifth seeded Columbia Saturday, and once again had trouble finding the back of the net, falling to the Lady Wildcats, 2-0.

The Lady Tigers beat Nampa 2-0 Monday in a loser-out match. Details of the game were unavailable at press time.

The Lady Tigers will play the loser of today's Skyview/Kuna match tomorrow.

The 3 p.m. game is for third place and a state tourney berth.
