Lady Tigers make it four straight

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers extended their current win streak to four with three wins last week in girls soccer action.

Columbia 0

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers shut out Columbia last Monday at Columbia in conference girls soccer.

Shianna Hawley, who scored nine goals in three games the previous week, added three more against Columbia. Francesca Hale and Jessica Tindall each had an assist.

Alicen Wendall had a save, as Columbia got just one shot at the goal in the game.

Mtn. Home 6

Middleton 2

Shianna Hawley continued her torrid play, scoring four goals as the Lady Tigers downed Middleton 6-2 last Thursday at Middleton.

Francesca Hale had a goal and three assists, Jennifer Jaurez had a goal, and Kristie Sigloh, and Jessica Tindall also had assists.

Alicen Wendall had three saves on goal.

Mtn. Home 3

Jerome 0

Mountain Home won their fourth straight soccer game, shutting out Jerome 3-0 last Friday at Eastside Park.

Shianna Hawley scored a goal, her eighth of the week and 17th in the last six games, and also had an assist. Anastasia Sansone and Jessica Tindall also had goals. Francesca Hale had two assists and Alicen Wendall had three saves.

The win improved the Mountain Home girls to 8-3-1 on the season.

They were at Kuna Tuesday and host Nampa Thursday. Next week they are home on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and close out their regular season schedule at Emmett on Oct. 8.

The District III 4A Girls Soccer Tournament starts Oct. 11 at Bishop Kelly.
