Tuesday, September 9, 2008

To show appreciation for those who responded on Sept. 11, 2001, North Elementary is holding a freedom walk at 2:20 p.m. Thursday.

The school is inviting the public to attend the walk, which will occur around the school's perimeter in silence.

Participants are encouraged to wear red, white or blue shirts.

  • A letter went home with all the students about this- I think it is a wonderful idea. It is totally free for the public to join in.. What a great way to come together as a community. This article left off where it is to show support for those who responded on Sept 11, 2001 and for past and present veterans who have given them the right to hold this Freedom Walk. I say a HUGE kudos to all those students!!
