Former Mountain Home Police Officer Glenn Parsons will be sentenced on Aug. 18 for the charges of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 16, sexual battery of a minor, sexual abuse of a child under 16 and sexual abuse of a child 16-17.

Parsons agreed on June 16 to enter a plea of guilty to all the charges, avoiding a criminal trial.
