Arts Council, Civic Club say thanks to all for help during Garden Tour

On behalf of the Mountain Home Arts Council and Beta Zeta Civic Club, we would like to thank the community for supporting our 12th Annual Garden Tour, "A Palette of Posies."

The funds raised will allow us to give a $1,000 scholarship to a high school student pursuing a degree in the art field and also a Log Cabin Literary Scholarship in 2009.

Members of the Garden Tour Committee worked so hard to make the event a success.

Our sincerest appreciation and thanks to the garden owners. Their gardens were all very special.

Special thanks to the Visual Artists who so generously gave of their time and talent. Their artwork was beautiful. Thanks, too, to student artist and scholarship winner, Amber Wright, whose colored pencil drawing was used on the tour brochure and special garden tour wine label.

The "after tour" social and auction held in the Basque Park was a fun event.

The Garden Tour Committee is already looking forward to the 13th annual Garden Tour.

Look for it in June 2009.
