Bird to marry Rozell

Jim and Karen Bird of Mountain Home have announced the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Jayne Bird, to Christopher Rozelle, son of Brent and Judy Rozelle of Yakima, Wash.

Jayne graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1998 and from the University of Idaho in 2003. She is currently studying medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y.

Chris graduated from Davis High School in Yakima in 1996, and from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash., in 2000. In 2005 he graduated from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. He is currently a pathology resident at OHSU Hospital in Portland, Ore.

Jayne and Chris will be married in Hood River, Ore., on Aug. 9, 2008.
