Work together for a 'new' bond

The recent school bond proposal is history. Now people of good will can get together to do something really positive for the community and the schools.

Indeed, I'm aware of several citizens coming forward to do just that, to work with both the school board and the school district for a bond proposal which will do everything it needs to do, without the frills.

Any bond will raise taxes some, but some things are worthwhile. The previous bond was impossible; the next one, if it makes sense, may just work out.

I wish all these people, who formerly were on opposite sides of the issue, very hearty thanks and Godspeed as they work together!
