"Saturdays are tough days to get a full varsity team together," said Coach House. "The JV players filled in where needed and did a great job!"

The Tigers close out their regular season schedule this week. They hosted Minico on Monday, close out their conference schedule at Nampa on Thursday and host Burley on Saturday.

"Since this (Burley) is our last season match, it will be Senior Day for Tiger tennis," said Coach House. "We are going to try something new this year, since the match is on Saturday during the day. We will be playing six senior matches at Aguirre Park and put the non-seniors and the JV at the base courts. Normally we play varsity at the base because of the four available lighted courts. With 12 matches to put on, it can take up to five or six hours to complete a dual match, and using just three courts would take an additional two or three hours.

Varsity matches will start at 11 a.m. at both locations, with JV action following the varsity action on base. On court at Richard Aguirre Park will be #1 boys singles Ricky Guadarrama, #1 girls singles Jessica Lewis, #1 boys doubles Jordan Niksich and Joey Miller, #2 boys doubles Keth Galloway and Bryan Walsh, #1 girls doubles Carolyn Bailey and Brittany Crownhart, and #2 mixed doubles Tanner Carpenter and Carina Sauter.

Coach House encouraged the public to attend and support Tiger tennis and the seniors.
