Lady Tiger JV pics up three more victories

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers JV softball team outscored its opponents, 45-13, last week in picking up three more wins.

Skyview 10

Mountain Home scored in every inning on its way to an 18-10 conference softball win over Skyview last Tuesday at home.

Shelby Doerr picked up the win, going the distance and striking out eight and giving up eight hits. She helped herself out at the plate with two hits and five RBIs. Casey Liercke and Tori Sheridan both had two hits and three RBIs, Rachel Warila had two hits, Modesty Labbe and Alex Schmidt had hits and RBIs, Carly McMullen had a double and Amanda Osborn had an RBI.

Bishop Kelly 1

Shelby Doerr struck out nine and gave up just three hits in Thursday's 8-1 conference win at Bishop Kelly.

Rachel Warila, Amanda Osborn, Carly McMullen and Alex Schmidt all had two hits, Osborn and Schmidt both had two RBIs, McMullen, one, Megan Kelly had a hit and Casey Liercke had an RBI.

Minico 2

A 13-run second inning ended this one early, as everyone in the Mountain Home lineup got a hit as they pounded out 18 hits in a 19-3 win in a game stopped after three innings.

Rachel Warila got the win in her first effort of the season in the pitching circle, giving up just two hits, striking out three and walking just one.

Modesty Labbe had four hits and four RBIs, Alex Schmidt had three hits and two RBI. Megan Kelly, Carly McMullen, Casey Liercke and Shelby Doerr each had two hits and two RBIs, Hannah Barresi had a hit and two RBIs, Rachel Warila had a hit and RBI, and Amanda Osborn had a hit.

The Lady Tigers close out their regular season schedule this week with home games against Emmett and Middleton. The JV District Tournament is Saturday at Middleton.
