Coach Rob Daniel's U14 Boys soccer team completed its league season games with a huge 15-0 shutout over Middleton Gold at Eastside Park and now work on preparing for post-season tournament play.

Brent Sexauer led the charge with five goals, followed by Tony McKenzie's three-goal hat trick on the day. The remaining seven goals were tallied by Tomas Guillen (taking a break from his goalkeeping duties to put one in), Trey Breslin, Miguel Jarillo, Marco Rodriguez, Jessie Caraballo, AJ Daniels and Tyler McCloud.

Tyler Brennan and Ryan Todd added to the team effort in preserving the shutout.

The team will participate in the Les Bois Invitational May 10- 11 in Boise.

While the U14 Boys were taking care of business, a simultaneous win was taking place on the adjacent field as the U13 Boys defeated Vallivue 7-4. Ricardo Araujo put two goals in for the Tigers as did fellow teammates Brenden O'Neill and Francisco Corona, with Cole Foreman putting a single shot into the back of the net.

Assists were credited to Tyler Rios, Mady Vines, Araujo and Corona.

The U18 Boys continued the home field advantage winning ways for Mountain Home as they shut out the McCall Avalanche 5-0 on scores/assists from Nick Gula, Alfredo Pedroza, David Walters, Bryan Walsh and Lalo Martinez.

Coach Mike Hedrick, substituting in the absence of Coach Mike Glover, praised "strong performances by Horberto Cortes and goalie Christian Figueroa as well as defensive players Lucas Marsh, Chris Oswald and Eric Weiss for maintaining the shutout victory."

The Glenn's Ferry U11 Girls improved their record to 5 -1 -1 and a potential tie for first place in the division with a 5-3 victory over Kuna.

Scoring for the Co-Pilots were Sam Tveidt, Anna Orr, Kylee Carpenter with two, and Raegan Grigg with her first goal of the season.

The girls were relentless in the drives and out-shooting their opponents, as the defense stepped up to help goalies Josie Bryant and Sam Tveidt secure the win.

Coach Paul Walsh's U17 Girls secured a 4-2 win on the road against Middleton U16 Gold with Anastasia Sansone and Shianna Hawley providing the scoring power.

Sansone's goal was an unassisted play of one on one with the goalie, while Hawley's three-goal hat trick came with two perfectly placed long-ball assist's from Nichole Koopman and Kelly Robins as well as one unassisted goal.

"Four of our starters were missing and the younger ladies really picked up the slack," Coach Walsh said. "Crystal Juarez played the best game I've seen her play. She passed well, made some good runs and her movement off the ball was awesome. Kelly Robins and Nicole Snelgrow also played strong in defense for us today."

The U12 Boys went down to defeat against the Boise Capitals on Wednesday, with Kaleb Stevens and Isaiah Carlisle finding the back of the net for United in the 7-2 loss.

The U16 Boys also fell to the Boise Capitals in a 6-1 loss on Saturday.
