The U16 Boys of Mountain Home Youth Soccer remain undefeated after a 6-0 shutout of Middleton at East Side Park on Saturday.

Austin Clark led the scoring attack with a three-goal hat trick, assisted by Alex Martinez and Tony Crownhart on the scoring drives. Eloy Guadarrama, with an assist from Chito Brito, powered in two additional goals, with Tony Crownhart sending the final tally into the back of the net for the Tigers.

The U18 Boys had a tougher time with their Middleton opponent, falling 3-2 in their first loss of the season.

"Our offense couldn't get moving today. They were flat," Coach Mike Glover said. "Our defenders, Eric Weiss and Lucas Marsh, had an outstanding game in keeping us in the match."

United's goals were scored by Nick Gula and Ul6 guest player Eloy Guadarrama.

The U11 Girls improved their record to 3-1-1 with a 4-2 win over Vallivue. Goals were provided by Kylee Carpenter with two, and Anna Orr and Melissa Garza each scoring one point for the Co-Pilots.

Mountain Home's U17 Girls beat Boise Blast 3-1 as Shianna Hawley (2), with assists from Adriana Garcia and Tasha Belling, and Jessica Tindall (penalty kick) provided the firepower needed for the victory. "Our defense played well with solid performances from Nicole Snelgrow and Kelly Robins," Coach Paul Walsh said. "Our midfield controlled many aspects of the game with some nice ball movement and through passes."

After being down 3 -1 at the half, the U13 Boys pulled a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Vallivue on Saturday.

Newcomer Francisco Corona led the way with six shots on goal, with one getting past the keeper for a score. Additional goals for the Tigers were tallied by Kylar Schilz, Ricardo Araujo and Brenden O'Neill, with Tyler Rios being credited for an assist.

The U12 Boys had a victory snatched from their grasp in the closing seconds of their match against Kuna and settled for a 3-3 tie. Garrett McKenzie (2) and Jacob Lucas put the three goals on the board for United. "The team played a great game," Coach Curtis Viall said. "Christa Lewis did an awesome job at midfield for us."

Coach Rob Daniels' U14 Boys lost 4-1 to MSC-Caldwell Pumas with Tyler McCloud putting the solo point in for Mountain Home.
