Magistrate Court

Alfonso Martinez, Jr., 55, was found guilty for driving under the influence (8/18/03 case). Martinez was sentenced to 180 days in jail (170 days suspended, two days in custody-all options on eight days remaining), placed into a treatment program, placed on two years probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $1,000 ($300 suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Martinez had a charge of failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license (8/18/03 case) dismissed by the prosecutor.

Martinez was found guilty for contempt of court (10/5/04 case). Martinez was sentenced to five days in jail (five days suspended).

Richard L. Mcelveen, 34, was found guilty for driving without privileges (4/23/04 case). Mcelveen was sentenced to 90 days in jail (80 days in jail), placed on one year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $500 plus $302.50 in court costs.

Mcelveen had a charge of possessing a mutilated, altered or revoked drivers license (4/23/04 case) dismissed by the prosecutor.

Mcelveen was found guilty for contempt of court (12/23/04 case). Mcelveen was sentenced to five days in jail (three days suspended, two days credited) and fined $100.

Mcelveen was found guilty for contempt of court (9/19/06 case). Mcelveen was sentenced to five days in jail.

Katherine A. Cotnoir, 39, was found guilty for driving without privileges (3/30/06 case). Cotnoir had a charge of insurance-operate without liability insurance dismissed by the prosecutor. Cotnoir had a charge of failure to appear for a misdemeanor citation (3/30/06 cases) dismissed by the court. Cotnoir was found guilty for contempt of court.

For these charges, Cotnoir was placed on one year probation, sentenced to 91 days in jail (83 days suspended; one day in jail concurrent to any other days serving) and fined $638.50 ($500 suspended) plus $201.50 in court costs.

Lonnie J. Williams, 25, was found guilty for an amended charge of aggravated assault (7/16/06 case-amended to assault). Williams was found guilty for battery (7/16/06 case). Williams was found guilty for contempt of court (1/2/08 case).

For these charges Williams was sentenced to 273 days in jail (210 days suspended, two days credited), placed on 24 months probation and fined $864.50 ($800 suspended) plus $425.50 in court costs.

Williams was found guilty for a violation of a no contact order (9/11/06 case). Williams was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended, two days credited), placed on one year probation and fined $400 ($400 suspended) plus $50 in court costs.

Williams was found guilty for contempt of court and sentenced to three days in jail.

Kathryn W. Rothgeb, 19, was found guilty for an amended charge of reckless driving (8/7/07 case-amended to inattentive/careless driving). Rothgeb was fined $300 plus $99.50 in court costs.

Sandra A. Froelich, 43, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (9/29/07 case). The case has been withheld.

Walter J. Ellison, 50, was found guilty for an amended charge of assault-domestic violence (11/2/07 case-amended to battery-domestic violence). Ellison was sentenced to 20 days in jail, placed on 18 months probation and fined $250 plus $165.50 in court costs and $198.74 in restitution.

Leroy W. Backham, Jr., 33, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving under the influence (11/13/07 case-amended to reckless driving). Backham was sentenced to 60 days in jail (55 days suspended, one day credited), placed on two years probation and fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Backham was found guilty for driving without privileges (11/13/07 case). Backham had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $500 ($500 suspended).

Backham was found guilty for an amended charge of driving under the influence (12/25/07 case). Backham was sentenced to 180 days in jail (135 days suspended, concurrent with 11/13/07 DUI and DWP cases), placed on two years probation, had his drivers license suspended for 12 months and fined $2,000 ($1,000­--suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Backham was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges (12/25/07 case). Backham was sentenced to 90 days in jail (60 days suspended, two days credited, concurrent with Count 1), had his drivers license suspended for one year and fined $1,000 ($1,000 suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Cesar Espinoza-Marin, 24, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving (1/26/08 case). Marin was fined $300 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Filip Cavrag, 55, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving and fined $250 plus $78.50 in court costs.

Robert P. Bergh, 19, was found guilty for driving under the influence (11/25/07 case). Bergh was sentenced to five days in jail (one day credited), placed on one year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $500 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Daniel S. Ramsbacher, 34, was found guilty for a violation of a protection order (12/1/07 case). Ramsbacher was sentenced to 180 days in jail (103 days suspended, 77 days credited), placed on two years probation and fined $500 ($500 suspended) plus $235.50 in court costs.

Kirk Bowman, 29, was found guilty for an amended charge of resisting or obstructing officers (12/16/07 case-amended to disturbing the peace). Bowman was fined $100 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Roger James Pippen, 20, was found guilty for the possession, consumption and the purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor (12/22/07 case). Pippen was sentenced to 10 days in jail (nine days suspended, one day credited), placed on one year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 60 days and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.

Amanda C. Catalino, 20, was found guilty for driving without privileges (2/2/08 case). Catalino was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended), had her drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Catalino was found guilty for failure to notify upon striking an unattended vehicle (2/2/08 case). Catalino was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended) and fined $500 ($250 suspended).

Catalino had a charge of failure to provide proof of insurance (2/2/08 case) dismissed by the prosecutor. For these charges, Catalino was ordered to pay $500 in restitution.

Roger Lobach, 47, was found guilty for driving under the influence (2/3/08 case). Lobach was sentenced to five days in jail (one day credited), placed on one year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $600 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Martin A. Barroso, 29, was found guilty for reckless driving (3/11/08 case). Barroso was sentenced to 30 days in jail (27 days suspended), placed on one year probation and fined $500 ($200 suspended) plus $78.50 in court costs.

Yolanda Martinez-Moreno, 24, was found guilty for driving without privileges (3/12/08 case). Moreno was sentenced to two days in jail, had her drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $250 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Eric D. Parke, 22, was found guilty for the consumption and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container (3/15/08 case). Parke was fined $75 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Charles Ormiston I, 31, was found guilty for an amended charge of failure to provide proof of insurance (3/15/08 case). Ormiston was fined $75 plus $41.50 in court costs.

Jamesen T. Webster, 16, was found guilty for the possession, distribution and the use of tobacco by a minor (3/13/08 case). Webster was placed on six months probation and fined $50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Kayle D. Johnson, 14, was found guilty for the possession, distribution and the use of tobacco by a minor (3/19/08 case). Johnson was fined $118.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.
