What thieves need are jobs

Dear editor:

I hope "whoever" took the shovel from the top of my husband's trailer gets a good sharp whack to his foot, when they try to use it.

I never can figure out why people steal things. I never did. Of course if I did, my father would have whipped me all the way home on the legs with a switch.

Like he did one time. I'm 71 years old and I can still remember that day.

People who steal need a full time job like on a farm, etc. You don't have time to think of stealing there.
