Tiger head track coach Rich Urquidi was pleased with their efforts for the first meet of the season.

"The weather was cold and we had to stop for a while for the storm and it rained and kind of snowed on us a little bit, but we had a good effort. The coaches are pleased with everybody. We placed in a lot of things. Our girls ended up winning and our boys were in second place, which we're real happy with that, they're a young group of guys so that was good, and it was a great effort all around."

The Tigers head to Nampa on Thursday for a triangular meet with the Nampa Bulldogs and Middleton Vikings.

"I haven't seen any results from Nampa or Middleton yet, but I think we'll do pretty well," said Coach Urquidi.
