Girls golf team finishes second, boys fourth

The Mountain Home Tiger girls golf team came in second while the boys were fourth at a four-team golf match at Falcon Crest in Boise last Monday.

Bishop Kelly ran away with the girls competition, shooting a team total 163. Mountain Home was a distant second, coming in with a 231, two shots ahead of Skyview. Kuna did not have a full team.

Shayla Streeter led Mountain Home with a 47. Brandie Riggs came in at 58, Alicen Wendall, 60, Hannah Zamora, 66, and Shelby Stevens, 68.

Bishop Kelly also won the boys competition, shooting a 164.

Skyview was second with a 172, Kuna came in third with a 183, and Mountain Home brought up the rear with a 212.

Brad Yagues led Mountain Home with a 49, Travis Goldsby shot a 52, Stephen Elliott, 54, Zach Pomerantz, 57, and Destry Royce, 59.
