Cats killed to train dogs?

Dear editor:

I received a phone call from a concerned citizen informing me of a certain individual using cats to train their hunting hound dogs. These cats wind up getting tortured, maimed and killed by the dogs.

This is a travesty, not only for the cats who get killed but for the dogs who learn to kill for the taste of blood. These individuals are dangerously sick. This cold, bloody act must get stopped.

Anyone who can watch a small cat get killed intentionally is very cold and calculating.

People do not put your cats in the paper for free. They can fall in the hands of these sick people. Get them to the Mountain Home Shelter where they will be safe. This individual does not portray who he is.

Mountain Home, please stop this from happening anymore. Maybe someone will be able to film them in their sick actions. A great reward if you can.
