Please fill out city survey

Dear editor:

I hope everyone will take time to fill out the city survey questionnaire enclosed in your water bill.

There is a section inquiring about your leisure time activities. Did you notice that swimming was not included despite the fact that we have a city swimming pool and there are many people who participate in aquatic programs year-round in private pools and on the base?

BSU is planning a large aquatic center and will probably have a swimming team at some point in the future. There won't be many participants from Mountain Home, will there?

Please find a spot on that questionnaire to support swimming in Mountain Home. Perhaps a way can be found for the city, county, school district, and the Western Elmore County Recreation District to partner together and make an indoor pool a possibility for our town.
