Lady Tigers JV softball team opens season with 13-0 win

The Mountain Home Lady Tiger JV softball team opened its season with a 13-0 non-conference win over Timberline last Thursday in Mountain Home.

Shelby Doerr pitched a one-hitter during the five inning affair, striking out seven batters.

Lindsay Sessions had a double and a triple and drove in a run, and Blas Lord had two hits, one of them a double and drove in two runs. Jennica Quintal had a hit and three RBIs, and Carly McMullen also had a hit.

Lady Tiger JV softball coach Sandi Bish was pleased to open with the win.

"They definitely surprised me. They really played well. Hopefully it will put the season on a good foot."
