Mountain Home woman hospitalized after rollover

Shortly before 11:30 Sunday morning, March 9, 2008, Idaho State Police Troopers, Canyon County Paramedics, and Nampa Police officers responded to an injury crash westbound on I84 near Nampa Blvd. Amanda Jiron, 19, of Mountain Home was traveling in a VW Beetle when she went into a broad slide and slid into the median where her vehicle rolled. Jiron was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to St. Alphonsus Hospital, where she is listed as being in stable condition and was able to speak with officers. The crash is still under investigation by Sgt. Stauffer with assistance from Tpr. Jussel.
