MHHS Encore Co. to perform Friday

MHHS Encore Co. will present a series of short scenes this Friday, March 7, at 6 p.m. in the MHHS Gym.

Scenes include student directed humorous and dramatic solos and ensembles.

The event is free to the public.

The "Spring Showcase '08" performances will include:

* "Check Please" (Ensemble Humorous) will be presented by Lindsey Kellerman, Lindsey Norris, Spencer Smith and Joe Russell.

* "Maternity Mayhem" (Solo Humorous) will be presented by Ashley Miles.

*"Fancy Words" (Original Humorous) will be presented by Christina Anthony.

* "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" (Solo Humorous) will be presented by Mark Martin.

* "Extreme Fakeover" (Ensemble Humorous) will be presented by Ava Carlos and April Kerbyson.

* "Dirk the Angry Scottsman" (Solo Humorous) will be presented by Tyler Johnson.

* "Soy Answer" (Solo Humorous) will be presented by Billy Knowlden.

* "Dumping Ground" (Ensemble Humorous) will be presented by Kiona Decker and Kyle Crowden.

* "I Love Lucy" (Ensemble Humorous) will be presented by Gesika Brock, Ashley Herman, Erin Fahey and Ava Carlos.

* "Black Market Arts" (Ensemble Humorous) will be presented by Gabriel Stephens and Samuel Wallace.

* "The Tell-Tale Heart" (Solo Serious) will be presented by Gabriel Stephens.

* In addition, Cari Coleman and Tristin Stempfley will present an original humorous skit, although the name has not been announced.
