Wrestlers bring home gold

13 members competing against 550 other area youths in seven different age categories at the Homedale Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling tournament this past weekend.

Bringing home gold were: Tanner Keener, Kanoa Doronio and Ty Kleffner.

Taking silver was Ryan Goldsby.

Finishing in third place was Tyler Rios and Jacob Lucas and bringing home fourth-place honors was Pierce Mederios.

Also wrestling, but not placing, were: Jonathon Ryan, Kole Filipovich, Jacob Wendall, Dixon Kean and Nicholas and Charlie Shoemaker.

Next week the team travels to Kuna for the Kuna Classic tournament.
