A child enticement case was reported this morning at North Elementary School, possibly in the 600 block of East 144th North.

A student, (nine years old, name unknown), reported that he was walking to school when a man drove up beside him and asked him if he wanted a ride to school. He told him, "No". The man drove away them re-approached him asking him if he wanted a ride once again. He told him, "No". The student immediately went to school and told school officials.

Mountain Home Police are currently looking for the driver of this vehicle. The individual involved in the incident is described as an older man with white hair (no facial hair), no identifying marks on his face and wearing a white shirt. The vehicle the man was driving is described as a newer model, 4-door blueish green vehicle with a red stripe.

Administrators at North elementary were told about the incident and have sent out a letter to inform parents.

"We strongly urge parents to talk to their children about these kinds of dangers. We are thankful that he knew what to do and immediately contacted school officials," said Lt. Randy Robinson.
