Good Samaritans thanked

Dear editor:

I want to thank all those good Samaritans who came to my aid on Thursday, Jan. 31, after I hit a patch of black ice on Airbase Road and landed in a ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Miraculously, I was stuck in the ditch and had to wait for a tow truck.

I especially want to thank the young couple who stayed until law enforcement came. In addition to the young couple, there was a man in an SUV, a pilot from the airbase, a woman in an SUV, a couple in a truck with a trailer, a car with about four young people, and of course, the tow truck man who pulled me out.

Again, thank you so very much!
