Man's body found near county line

The body of Walter L. Springer, who had been reported missing Wednesday, was found near the Ada-Elmore county line Thursday.

Springer had last been seen in the Tipanuk area on Jan. 23, but the missing person's report wasn't received by the Elmore County Sheriff's Office until Jan. 30. Springer's body was found about 9 a.m. the following day.

Local authorities and Idaho State Police detectives are continuing their investigation of the matter. The Ada County coroner is scheduled to perform an autopsy Monday.
