Grieving mother says thanks

Dear editor:

I would like to thank the community of Mountain Home, for all of the help they extended in my family's time of need. I didn't know a lot of the people that came forth with help with food, money, housework, childcare, etc., and I can not thank you enough for what you all have done.

For those of you I do know, you have all gone above and beyond any expectation a friend would have for another.

As I am at a loss for words, just know that the overwhelming amount of support that we received and that we are continuing to receive today is more than appreciated, and I hope under different circumstances that I can someday return the favor for some of you. Again, thank you so much.

I would also like to personally thank the person/persons that paid the cost of my son's funeral. When I was told that this happened I was at a loss for words, and I am still today. Just know that whoever you are you are a special person (people), and one day you will be rewarded for your kind hearts.
