Magistrate Court

Scott M. Butkowsky, 30, was found guilty for an amended charge of domestic violence-battery, (3/8/04 case-amended to battery). Butkowsky was sentenced to 30 days in jail (30 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation and fined $750 ($500 suspended) plus $69.50 in court costs.

Butkowsky had a charge of trespass, (3/8/04 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Butkowsky was found guilty for contempt of court, (3/8/04 case). Butkowsky was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 18 months probation and ordered to pay $63.50 in court costs.

Sergio G. Alba, 22, was found guilty for failure to purchase a sellers license, (3/8/06 case). Alba was fined $75 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Alba was found guilty for failure to appear for a misdemeanor citation, (3/8/06 case). Alba was fined $75.

Randy L. Bevell, 49, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (3/2/07 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Bevell was sentenced to 2 days in jail and fined $200 plus $174.50 in court costs.

Bevell was found guilty for contempt of court, (9/17/07 case). Bevell was sentenced to 5 days in jail (3 days suspended).

Gilberto Perez-Navaro, 19, was found guilty for an amended charge of statutory rape, (3/30/07 case-amended to injury to child).

Navaro was sentenced to 180 days in jail (160 days suspended, 5 days credited), placed on 2 years probation and fined $1,000 ($800 suspended) plus $272.50 in court costs and $500 in restitution.

Rosio R. Perkins, 25, was found guilty for vehicular manslaughter, (5/18/06 case). Perkins was sentenced to 365 days in jail (351 days suspended), placed on 12 months probation, 12 months drivers license suspension and fined $1,000 ($700 suspended) plus $72.50 in court costs.

Julie Ann Yost, 48, was found guilty for an amended charge of attempt to obtain a controlled substance by fraud or forgery, (6/5/06 case-amended to possession of a controlled substance).

Yost was sentenced to 100 days in jail (93 days suspended, 1 day credited), issued a work release, placed on 9 months probation and fined $1,000 ($750 suspended) plus $142.50 in court costs.

Justin Dean Anderson, 22, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (7/1/07 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Anderson was sentenced to 180 days in jail (173 days suspended), placed on 2 years probation and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $175.50 in court costs.

Anderson had a charge of operating without liability insurance, (7/1/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Tyler S. Christiansen, 25, pleaded not guilty to a violation of his drivers or commercial drivers license, (10/6/07 case). Christiansen was found guilty and fined $144.

Raymond Anca, 17, was found guilty for an amended charge of the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, (10/17/07 case-amended to possession of marijuana/paraphernalia, use, and influence by a minor).

Anca was sentenced to 90 days in jail (87 days suspended), placed on 18 months probation and fined $300 ($300 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.

Tony A. Beitia, 51, pleaded not guilty for an amended charge of unlawful taking care of animals, birds, fur bearers, (11/5/07 case-amended to hunting game animals, birds from motorized vehicle). Beitia was found guilty and fined $100 plus $83 in court costs.

Kane E. Malicoat, 19, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (11/28/07 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Malicoat was fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Malicoat was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (11/28/07 case). Malicoat was sentenced to 5 days in jail (1 day credited, concurrent with Count III), issued a work release and fined $200.

Malicoat was found guilty for failure to provide proof of insurance, (11/28/07 case). Malicoat was sentenced to 4 days in jail (concurrent with Count II) and fined $250.

Joshua Borsom V., 22, had a charge of purchasing, consuming, and possession of an alcoholic beverage by a minor, (12/13/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor. Borsom was ordered to pay $100 in restitution.

Borsom was found guilty for possession of a controlled substance, (12/13/07 case). Borsom was sentenced to 90 days in jail (83 days sentenced, 2 days credited), placed on 18 months probation and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $145.50 in court costs.

Borsom was found guilty for the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, (12/13/07 case). Borsom was sentenced to 90 days in jail (83 days suspended, 2 days credited, concurrent with Count II), placed on 18 months probation and fined $500 ($350 suspended) and $100 in restitution.

Erick Saucedo Martinez, 23, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (12/24/07 case). Martinez was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

David Salazar, 21, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (12/31/07 case). Salazar was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 1 years probation and fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Eli J. Jones, 19, was found guilty for the possession, consumption and the purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor, (12/31/07 case). Jones was placed on 1 year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 210 days and fined $1,000 ($600 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.

Eusebio Martinez, 17, was found guilty for a drivers license or commercial drivers license violation, (1/2/08 case). Martinez was fined $68.50 plus $77.50 in court costs.

Tammy K. Cantrell, 42, was found guilty for a drivers license or commercial drivers license violation, (1/3/08 case). Cantrell was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Marco L. Marintez-Martinez, 16 was found guilty for driving without privileges, (1/5/08 case). Martinez was sentenced to 2 days in jail, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $250 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Sarah Annette Brandt, 25, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (1/3/08 case). Brandt was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Sun H. Walston, 40, was found guilty for failure to notify upon striking fixtures on highway , (1/7/08 case). Walston was fined $191 plus $3.00 in court costs.
