Magistrate Court

Chance Shawn McKeel, 40, had charges of burglary, (5/10/07 case), and petit theft, (5/23/07 case) dismissed by the prosecutor.

McKeel was found guilty for petit theft, (6/3/07 case). McKeel was sentenced to 365 days in jail (332 days suspended, concurrent with count II) and fined $1,000 ($900 suspended) plus $167.50 in court costs and $100 in restitution.

McKeel was found guilty for possession of a controlled substance, (6/3/07 case). McKeel was sentenced to 365 days in jail (332 days suspended, 3 days credited concurrent with count I), issued a work release, placed on 2 years probation and ordered to pay $100 in restitution.

McKeel had a charge of the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, (6/3/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor, however McKeel had to pay $100 in restitution.

Cheryl G. Walling, 48, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving under the influence, (10/6/06 case). Walling was sentenced to 365 days in jail (345 days suspended, 3 days credited), placed on 2 years probation, had her drivers license suspended for 1 year and fined $2,000 ($1,400 suspended) plus $318.50 in court costs.

Walling had a charge of failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (10/6/06 case), dismissed by the prosecutor and was found guilty for a probation violation, (10/6/06 case). Walling was sentenced to 5 days in jail.

George L. Eddy III, 31, had an amended charge of driving without privileges, (1/10/07 case) and possession of a controlled substance (6/23/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Eddy was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (6/23/07 case). Eddy was sentenced to 90 days in jail (65 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 1 year and fined $1,000 ($750 suspended) plus $87.50 in court costs.

Trent M. G. Petersen, 22, was found guilty for an amended charge of battery-domestic violence, (3/17/07 case). The charge was amended to battery.

Peterson was sentenced to 90 days in jail (80 days suspended), placed on 2 years probation and fined $500 ($350 suspended) plus $197.50 in court costs.

Tamara Lorene Bevell, 39, had a charge of reckless driving, (6/14/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Hector Juarez Garcilazo, 36, was found guilty for driving without privileges, (6/20/07 case). Garcilazo was sentenced to 2 days in jail (2 days credited), had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and ordered to pay $162.50 in court costs.

Anthony Christopher Lopez, 21, had a charge of resisting or obstructing police officers, (10/27/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Matthew O' Kepner-Roberts, 18, was found guilty for driving without privileges, (11/10/07 case). Roberts was sentenced to 2 days in jail, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $250 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Jeremy P. Malone, 25, was found guilty for driving under the influence, (11/10/07 case). Malone was sentenced to 60 days in jail (55 days suspended, 1 day credited, first day must be in custody), issued a work release, placed on 12 months probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $1,000 ($400 suspended) plus $161.50 in court costs.

Shawn D. Carroll, 27, was found guilty for disturbing the peace-willfully disturbing neighborhood, (12/15/07 case). Carroll was sentenced to 2 days in jail (2 days credited) and fined $150 plus $78.50 in court costs.

Albert W. Riso III, 23, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (12/22/07 case). Riso was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Jose Natividad Z. Garcia, 24, was found guilty for driving under the influence, (12/25/07 case). Garcia was sentenced to 12 days in jail (7 days credited).

Garcia had a charge of a violation of his drivers or commercial drivers license violation, (12/25/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Monica Suite, 17, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (12/30/07 case). Suite was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 6 months probation and fined $250 plus $75.50 in court costs.
