Deputies rescue duck hunters off island

Elmore County Sheriff Rick Layher assists an unidentified duck hunter to shore after the man and his two companions were rescued off an island by deputies Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies with the Elmore County Sheriff's Office rescued three duck hunters off an island after their boat capsized in the Snake River yesterday. The hunters were stranded on the island, approximately four miles downstream of Glenns Ferry. Further information will be posted when it becomes available.
