Lady Tigers JV wins their fourth straight, defeats Skyview

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers junior varsity basketball team won their fourth straight ball game Thursday night, beating the Skyview JV 47-25 in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.

The Lady Tigers used a 9-0 run and an 8-0 run in the first quarter to shoot to a 17-6 lead after a quarter.

Mountain Home scored just six points in the second period, but held Skyview to six as well, to maintain their 11-point lead, 23-12, at the half.

An 11-0 run to start the third quarter put the game out of reach, as the Lady Tigers stretched their lead to 38-17 heading into the final quarter, and won handily, 47-25.

Breann Christiansen led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points, Charde` Huntington added nine, Ashley Christiansen scored six, Blas Lord and Sarah Cantrell both had five, Kelsie Hopkins and Jasmyn Jewett each had four, Brenda Hawkins and Bre Sugden both finished with two points.

The win, the Lady Tigers fourth straight, improved their overall record to 6-4, and their conference mark to 3-2.
