Three Tigers named All-state

Three Mountain Home Tigers received First Team All State football honors at the 4A level.

Receiving First Team 4A All-State offensive line was Colby Lord. Chris Knudson and Matt Ward received First Team All-State honors on defense, Knudson on the defensive line, Ward at linebacker.

Those three Tigers were among others that earned All-Conference honors. Matt Ward earned Defensive Player of the Year honors, and Chris Knudson was First Team All-Conference as defensive lineman. Second Team All-Conference honors went to Billy Derome at linebacker and Calvin Vivier and Kyle Kerfoot as defensive backs.

Honorable Mention All-Conference honors went to James Bailey, Josh McCoy and Kamron Spaulding on the defensive line, and Nick Barrie as a defensive back.

First Team All-Conference awards went to Jake Posey at quarterback, Tallon Pauley at running back, Jesse Donez at wide receiver and Colby Lord on the offensive line.

Second Team All-Conference honors went to Billy Derome at tight end, Nick Barrie at wide receiver, and Jake Lewis on the offensive line. Honorable Mention All-Conference offensive lineman went to Brian Cobos.
