Internet safety seminar planned

A special seminar on Internet Safety, designed for both parents and children, will be held at the Mountain Home Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Anna Warns, the youth service advisor from Ada Community Library, and a member of SPLAT, the Special Projects Library Action Team, will be the guest speaker. The program is designed primarily for parents, teens and pre-teens. Participants will learn about social networking, including MySpace, and how to keep yourself safe on the internet.

An MP3 player will be given as a door prize for those attending.
