Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

Monday, October 1, 2007

The Mountain Home Police Department is seeking two suspects in an armed robbery of a pizza delivery person that happened late Sunday evening.

At approximately 10:25 p.m. last night, the suspects apparently called for a pizza delivery to an address that does not exist.

As the delivery driver tried to locate the address, in the area of North 15th E. and East 8th N. streets, he was reportedly approached by two male suspects.

The suspects are both described as white males, approximately six feet tall, 175 pounds and wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts and dark pants.

One of the suspects pointed a firearm at the driver and demanded the money after which the driver gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of money.

A witness in the case called the police as they observed the suspects fleeing the scene.

The police are continuing to investigate leads in the case.

If anyone has information or witnessed something that might assist police, contact Det. Sgt. Jeff Rhodes at 587-2101.

  • How about an area where this happened? Maybe a crossroads? That might help people rememeber if they saw anything or not...

  • What did your comment have to do with the story (my opinion). Did you not read what the top of the comment box said, "Be respectful" do you know what that means? I am glad you are able to feel good about casting the first stone.

If you have an issue with the person you named as a suspect then take it to the police, maybe that individual has to go to the police and file against you for false accusation. I sure hope you have some evidence to place him at the scene. Have a great day and I well keep you in my prayers.

  • daretocare; maybe you should pay closer attention as to what is written. I did not accuse anyone of anything. I stated a fact about someone that had committed an armed robbery in Boise, yet lives in Mtn Home. You need to be careful about accusing people of saying something they DID NOT say. Thanks for the offer but I don't need your phony prayers.

  • well "myopinion" you did state something that did not need to be stated. I am sure you would not like it if someone posted something about you on the internet for everyone to read. That young man may have done wrong but only he and the others involved would know the truth. plus the article clearly states two WHITE males.

To the delivery driver--I am sorry that you had to experience this situation.

  • I agree. The person's name should not have EVER been mentioned. The reference to the name "inferred" that this person could "possibly" be involved. To "myopinion" you are letting your anger eat away at you and it is beginning to rot. Maybe couseling would help you with this issue.

I am also glad to see that your comment was removed from this forum to keep others from seeing it.
