The Mountain Home Lady Tigers split their conference soccer games last week, winning at home against Emmett, and losing at Skyview.

Mtn. Home 4

Emmett 1

Francesca Hale scored two goals and Shianna Hawley and Shalamar Enriquez also had goals as Mountain Home opened conference play with a 4-1 win over Emmett last Tuesday at Eastside Park.

"The girls played well. I was happy," said Mountain Home girls soccer coach Carlos Jacome.

Skyview 5

Mtn. Home 0

The Lady Tigers played Skyview tough for a half, but the Lady Hawks scored five times in the second half to down to Mountain Home 5-0 last Thursday at Skyview.

"The first half we did really good," said Coach Jacome. "The whole team really played together in the first half, and then we changed goalies, and then we started having personal problems and it became a disaster in the second half."

The Lady Tigers took a 2-1 overall record and 1-1 conference mark into yesterday's home game against Middleton. They host Columbia tomorrow.
