H.B. (Chris) and Tamzy Christensen of Mountain Home have announced the engagement of their daughter, Tammie Christensen, to Jack D. Frair, son of Mary Ellen Frair of Ada, Alaska. The surprise proposal took place in Deer Lake, Wash., in front of friends and family at her brother's lake cabin while celebrating her parent's 53rd wedding anniversary.

Jack is employed with TCT Trucking of Boise and Tammie works at Elmore Medical Center.

The wedding is set for June 28, 2008.
