Letter to the Editor

U.S. needs to get out of the U.N.

Dear editor:

I thought that Mike Bradbury was knowledgeable about the persons he belittles in his continual rants. I happen to know that Jack Streeter not only carries a copy of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in his pocket with his Bible but orders and distributes hundreds of booklets to people that are willing to read it for themselves. There is a copy for him in the top drawer at Streeter Real Estate Office right now. He can obtain his own copy there and tell us where in that Constitution/Bill of Rights we were allowed to expand or take over THIS country beyond the original 13 States.

History buffs might find fault with Mr. Bradbury's allegations regarding George Washington. Washington did in fact get into the foreign affairs of other nations. It was Capt. George Washington of the Continental Militia under the British Army, later lieutenant colonel, who started the Indian Wars. It is my understanding Washington could not be content with the policies of the time and fired on the French and Indians first (March 28, 1752 and Washington surrendered July 3, 1752).

Later it was under his policies and that of the Democrats and Whigs they decided to get into westward expansion, thus wiping out entire peaceful nations of indians on land that did not belong to the union of colonies or states that ratified the Constitution. That policy continued up until the Civil War and afterwards. Remember Custer died for your sins. Greed!

The League of Nations was a dream of Democrats and later a reality known as the United Nations all put into place by a Democratically controlled House and Senate for years. Today the Democrats insist on keeping the useless UN active and we are paying THEIR bills and suffering from THEIR ineptness. We could educate and feed every poor American child for what it will cost to update that building in New York alone.

I am amused at the capitalized use of the word "THEIR" (assumed to mean the UN) in Mr. Bradbury's column. As long as "WE" belong to the United Nations "THEY" just happen to be "US." If the people of this country would contact the Democratically controlled Houses of Congress and demand that we close the UN and withdraw we might not ever have to fight in another KOREA. William (Bill) Page has been telling you this for years. I do believe that Bill will gladly give you a copy of the Constitution, also.

I promised a very dear lady a long time ago that I would never write another disparaging word regarding Francis Hicks, Esq. Bless her memory.... I shall say that the Bill of Rights of the United States is being trampled by duly elected bodies of attorneys that created self-serving loopholes to protect themselves while engaged in graft and other criminal shenanigans without regard for party affiliation. Without regard to party affiliation their campaigns are normally hype, rhetoric and outright lies. The electorate of the states allows them to commit the crimes without proper punitive actions.

Many Democrats are good Christians! So I shall say that it is a different book of rules that make us the "Policemen of the World." Communism was anti-Christ. We fought in Korea in that light. We are in a time when the future of non-Muslim peoples depends on policing the world to protect it from extermination by Muslims (formally Persians). 220 verses of the Bible between Gen. & Num. speak of war and it was directed by God that thousands of males defend Israel after age 20 from generation to generation. (Numbers Ch.1). So I say GOD through Christ made us to be the "Policemen of the World."

Christ died to make man Holy. Let us live or die to keep men FREE!
