Dareld and Dian Seaquist of Prineville, Ore., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lucinda J. Seaquist, to Ronald E. Loyd, son of Harold and Maxine Loyd of Athol, Idaho.

Lucinda is a graduate of Crook County High School in Prineville and currently is employed at Taco John's in Mountain Home.

Ron is a graduate of South High School in Bakersfield, Calif., and also works at Taco John's in Mountain Home.

The couple have planned a May 12 wedding at Richard Aguirre Park. A reception will be held following the wedding at 1330 Foster Ave.
