The Lady Tigers closed out their regular season schedule Wednesday at Columbia, and edged the Lady Wildcats 2-1. Jessica Hendershot and Francesca Hale both scored goals. Savannah Lopez had five saves on goal, Char Kaufman had three, as they shared time at goal keeper.

The win improved Mountain Home to 8-5-1 in conference, and 11-5-1 overall. The Lady Tigers were seeded third going into the District III 4A Girls Soccer Tournament at Bishop Kelly.

Kuna 0

The Lady Tigers opened District III 4A play at Bishop Kelly with a 2-0 win over Kuna. Angelina Garcia and Char Kaufman both scored goals, Francesca Hale and Chanda Lindsey each had an assist. Savannah Lopez had eight saves on goal.

The win improved Mountain Home to 12-5-1 on the season, and put them in the semi-finals yesterday (Tuesday) at Bishop Kelly against second-seeded Skyview. The Lady Tigers lost two close games to Skyview during the regular season, 2-1, at Skyview, and 5-4 at Mountain Home.

A win over Skyview would put the Lady Tigers in the championship game on Thursday, and qualify them for state. A loss to Skyview would put them in the consolation bracket, needing two wins to take third place, which also qualifies for state.
