Fielding a team made up of varsity and JV players, the Mountain Home Tigers blanked Twin Falls' mixed team, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at Eastside Park.

Danny Snelgrow scored both Mountain Home goals in the second half, one on a penalty kick, the other on an assist from Josh Lindsay.

Jamie Rios had five saves on goal.

"The guys played really well in the second half," said Tiger boys soccer coach Paul Walsh afterwards. "We had roughly half of our JV up for this one, a non-conference game, and Twin had a little bit of mixture, and we did the same, and played really well in the second half. We picked up the intensity. I'm really proud of them."

The win improved the Tigers to 5-6-4 overall. Mountain Home was at Emmett on Monday, and they close out their regular season schedule this (Wednesday) afternoon at home against Columbia for Senior Day.

"We're really looking forward to that, and hopefully we can come out on top of that one," said Coach Walsh.
