Bill Bunt, 69, died Sept. 20, 2006.
He was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Caldwell, Idaho.
Graveside services were held Monday, Sept. 25, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home, followed by a celebration of his life at the American Legion Hall. Bill requested the dress for the day to be denim. Arrangements were by Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel.
During his life Bill was a football player and a horse breeder.
He served in the United States Army and was injured in Korea in 1956.
Bill married Verda Ode Sept. 18, 1958. Bill's greatest love was his wife, Verda "Sissy," his family said. "Bill's other loves were John Deeres, working, friends, his children, their children, and all children. Bill savored every moment of his life." Bill loved being in the field, driving a John Deere tractor, his family said.
He farmed in Grand View until 1979.
He is survived by: five girls: Kebbie Lou (John) Patton of Anchorage, Alaski; Debbie Sue (Jeff) Young of Payette; Penny Dawn (David) Eden of Sterling, Alaska; Wendy Lynn (Mark) Santostefano of Meridian; and Goldie Kay Ashford of Mountain Home; 13 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
