Girls soccer beats Nampa

The Mountain Home girls came away with a split of their girls soccer games last week, losing a tough game at Kuna, but whipping Nampa at home.

The Lady Tigers battled Kuna tough, but came up on the short end of a 2-1 score at Kuna Monday.      

Francesca Hale scored Mountain Home's lone goal, off an assist by Shianna Hawley.  Savanna Lopez and Char Kaufman combined four four saves.

The Lady Tigers played aggressively Thursday at home against the Lady Bulldogs, beating the Nampa school, 8-2 at Eastside Park in Mountain Home. Anastasia Sansone had three goals, Jessica Hendershot had two goals and an assist, Angelina Garcia, one goal and one assist, Laura Lothrop and Francesca Hale both had one goal, and Shianna Hawley had two assists.  Char Kaufman had three saves on goal and Savannah Lopez had four.      

The win improved the Lady Tigers to 2-2 on the season. 

They have a busy week this week.  They were at Skyview yesterday (Tuesday), travel to Emmett tomorrow (Thursday), and host Jerome on Friday.
