James and Sara Shepard of Mountain Home have announced the birth of a boy, Ian James Shepard, on July 16, 2006, at the Mountain Home AFB hospital.

Ian James weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. at birth and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Gary and LSheeron Shepard of Craig, Colo., HarlanWorden of Green River, Wyo., and Arleen Nicholson of Port Orchard, Wash.
