Ronald E. Robertson, 60, of Mountain Home, died at his home, on Friday, July 14, 2006.

Funeral services were held a Tuesday, July 18, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.

Ron was born on August 13, 1945, the son of Alma A. and Phyllis S. Robertson, in Gooding.

He graduated from Gooding High School in 1963. Ron attended the University of Idaho before enlisting in the Air Force.

After serving his country he married Rita Heitz in 1972. Two children, Brad and Jennifer were brought into that union.

Ron later divorced Rita and married his current wife, Linda Sterling, in 2001.

For 30 years Ron lived in Murtaugh and in 1998 moved to Grand View.

He retired from Simplot as an area manager in 2002, after which he worked as an accountant in Mountain Home with his wife.

Ron loved the outdoors, farming and working with computers, but nothing could compare to the joy he had, being with his grandson, James, his family noted, adding, " he loved his children and was looking forward to his son's upcoming marriage and the anticipation of more grandchildren."

Ron is survived by: his wife, Linda Robertson, of Mountain Home; his daughters, Jennifer, and her husband, Matt Rhees, of Boise, and Christine Robertson of England; his son, Bradley Robertson of Seattle, Wash.; his stepson, Jason Hall of Kuna; his stepdaughter, Debra Hall of Boise; his brothers, Gerald Robertson of Albuquerque, N.M., Don Robertson of Los Angeles, Calif., Larry Robertson of Nampa; his sisters, Carole Finch of Gooding and Judy Henry of Rigby, and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.
