Edd Burghardt, 65

Edd Lyle Burghardt, 65, of Hamilton, Wyo., formerly of Grand View and Mountain Home, died May 26, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a brief battle with thyroid cancer.

A memorial will be held in Grand View later this fall.

Edd was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Boise, to William and Lulee Burghardt.

Edd is survived by: a son and daugher-in-law, Ernie and Jean Burghardt; two grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Willa and George Hipwell of Grand View; brothers rank Burghardt of Georgia and William S. Burghardt of Oregon; numerous nieces and nephews and a good friend, Linda Chestmore of Hamilton, Wyo.

He was preceded in deth by his parents, a brother, Charles Burghardt of Grand View; a sister and brother-in-law, Althea and Don Martell, and sister-in-law Ellen Burghardt of Oregon.
