The competition was stiff but Mountain Home had a number of athletes that continued to show improvement in their performances.

Kacy Barrie came in third in the 300 meter hurdles.  Emily Moranda was eighth.

Mountain Home finished fifth in the girls 4 by 100 meter relay.  That team was made up of Kacy Barrie, Sherica Holman, Alyssa Saltzgaber and Emily Moranda.

Alyssa Saltzgaber had a  new personal best in the triple jump, where she finished sixth.

Mountain Home was seventh in the sprint medley relay, with Kacy Barrie, Sherica Holman, Emily Moranda and Piper Coffin making up that relay team.

In the boys competition, Brandon Sloan came in third in the steeplechase, and the 4 by 100 meter relay team came in seventh.

In a 4 by 200 meter relay team made up of both boys and girls, Mountain Home came in second.  Kacy Barrie, Nick Barrie, Emily Moranda and Bob Daniels made up that relay.

"All of our coaches are pleased with the efforts there," said Tiger head track coach Rich Urquidi.  "We had some pretty good times in our relays, we improved in them, and in some other areas as well.  We continue to get better as we head towards district."

The Tigers have a dual track meet with Boise at Boise tomorrow (Thursday), and will be sending a number of competitors to YMCA Invitational (formerly The Outback) on Friday and Saturday.
