Sadie was born July 10, 1912, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, the daughter of Tony and Tillie Bowers. They moved to Nebraska, where she attended school and married John Huebert on April 11, 1931. The couple farmed in Nebraska until 1945, when they moved to Mountain Home and bought Shady Rest Cabin Court, one of only a couple places to rent over-night in the small village. Including many side jobs, they raised six children.
Her last years were spent in Boise at her daughter Helen's home. "She loved and enjoyed her large family, including her grandchildren," her family said. "She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed."
Helen is survived by: a son, John Huebert, of Gilchrist, Ore.; three daughters, Bonnie and her husband, Arley Hanna, Helen and her husband, John Drew, and Elaine and her husband, Mike McGilvery, all of Boise; her brother, Leonard, and his wife, Darlene Bowers, of Emmett; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, "as well as many wonderful friends, neighbors and the Christian and Baptist Church members, who were all like family," her family said.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, two sons, one brother and three sisters.
