He graduated in 1969 from Mountain Home High School.
For over 28 years he worked for Idaho Power as a lineman.
"Throughout his life, Steve has been at home in nature with a great love of fishing, camping, and hunting. A true kid at heart, Steve was loved by all who knew him," his family said.
He is survived by: his wife, Sharon Kenyon; his children, Kelli Kenyon of Boise, Katelyn Kenyon of Boise, Josh Smith of Boise, Breanna Smith of Cleveland, and Shannon Blanchard of Eugene; a granddaughter; his mother, Dora Kenyon of Oklahoma: a brother and spouse, Ron and Jo Kenyon of Oklahoma; and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harlan Kenyon, and his brother Eddie Kenyon.
