"Home room mother, chaperone for every occasion, sold baked goods, she was a wonderful seamstress, a part-time hair dresser, and a member the of Grace Lutheran Church. With all of these tasks being accomplished, Doris was still able to find time to bless her family with a home-cooked meal every night. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, ceramics, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grand children. She enjoyed and lived life to the fullest."

Doris is survived by: her two daughters, Twyla and her husband, Tom Rodney, of Mountain Home, Jackie and her husband, Lewis Cain, of Arizona; one son, Jan and his wife, Susie Stabile, of Nevada; two brothers, Johnny Pederson of Arizona and Leonard Pederson of Nevada; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
