Brian David Truskowski, 46, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, due to an automobile accident.

A viewing will be held today, Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 4-6 p.m. with funeral services to be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Brian was born June 23, 1959, the son of Leonard and Darlene Truskowski, in Dearborn, Mich. He graduated from Irondale High School in Moundsview, Minn.

At the age of 18, he started his Air Force military career that he would later retire from in 1994 as a staff sergeant. While in the service, Brian was an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the FB-111.

While stationed overseas he met and married his wife of 19 years, Tina. Together they raised three children in a "happy, tender, and caring home."

After retirement, his passion for automobiles lead him to become store manager at CSK (Schucks) Auto where he shared his knowledge with his customers.

Besides the love for his family, Brian's other loves included his 1980 Chevy Camero, and racing at Firebird Raceway, where he broke his track record of 115.75 mph. He enjoyed the great outdoors, which involved camping, fishing, shooting and colors of the sunsets.

He is survived by: his wife, Tina, of Mountain Home; sons Karl Truskowski of Mountain Home, and Jason and his wife, Kristin Truskowski, currently stationed overseas; a daughter, Jessica Smith of Texas; four grandchildren; three brothers Bob, Eric and Jim; two sisters, Demorie and Kathlene, his father, Leonard, and a dear family friend, Tiffany McCoy.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
